CALL FOR ENTRIES
Artists ‘Round Texas invites you to participate in the 2026 Paint & Photograph Garland, TX Juried Art Show. Various locations across the city of Garland, Texas are selected as inspiration for artists and photographers to discover, explore, and create works of art.
The exhibition will be March 4th to March 30, 2026
at the Granville Arts Center, 300 N. Fifth St. Garland, Texas.

THREE CREATIVE CATEGORIES
• 2-DIMENSIONAL MEDIA - such as oil, acrylic, pen & color ink, watercolor, color pencil, mixed media, etc. (MUST begin on site from SKETCHES, and/or reference photos to complete 2D & DRAWING categories.)
• PHOTOGRAPHY - with or without digital manipulation.
• DRAWING - BLACK DRAWING MEDIA ONLY, such as pen & ink, pencil, charcoal, black markers. Washes are acceptable.

STEP #1
• JANUARY 1, 2026 - Online Registration payment starts. Entry fees for three pieces of art; $35.00 for Members; $45.00 for non-members.
• WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2026, 6:00PM. - Registration Deadline.
• WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2026, 7:00PM - Printable Maps in PDF format emailed, along with a “link” to upload images.

Entries must be dry, framed and matted when appropriate, with wire only - NO SAWTOOTH or other hangers accepted. Gallery canvas (1.5” sides) are acceptable unframed, with painted sides and hanging wire.

PARTICULARS
MAP: The MAP email will have a link to upload your entries, and will contain a printable PDF for only designated places to paint, photograph, or draw in Garland for this competition. No other places/venues will be accepted into this art show.
ENTRIES measuring over 30”w x 36”h” or under 10”w x 12”h, which includes the frame, will not be accepted. All art must be for sale and priced for sale, not less than $50 for an entry, and cannot be removed before the end of the show without permission.
JUROR: To be announced.
BEST OF SHOW $500 - with cash Awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Honorable Mention in each category, plus various other awards, including area Business Purchase Awards. A.R.T. reserves the right to refuse art not meeting requirements, or with content considered unsuitable. Artists handle their own sales. Artists’ contact information will be on title tags. No commission is taken. No entries will be accepted previously entered in any Artists ‘Round Texas juried art show. Open to all artists 16 yrs. and older (ID required).
RELEASE: By entering this show, artist agrees entry(s) may be used in advertising and promotions for the show. Entrants should carry their own insurance. The greatest care will be taken in handling your entries. Neither Artists ‘Round Texas, nor the City of Garland, assume responsibility for lost, damaged, stolen items, or personal injury. Please talk to your insurance agent.
Artists 'Round Texas, a 501C3, appreciates and thanks the City of Garland, Texas and the Staff of the Granville Arts Center for the use of their facility for this event. The Granville Arts Center has a total area of approximately 40,000 square feet.
It features multiple performance spaces, including a main auditorium and smaller venues. The main auditorium alone is about 1,000 seats, contributing significantly to the overall space. The center also includes galleries and meeting rooms for various events.
