In-person Competition Instructions:
Saturday February 21, 2026 check-in opens at 1:30pm for pre-judging, contest begins at 3:00pm, Awards at 4:30pm, and live music by Stevie G & Elvis at 6:30pm. Seperate reservations may be required for seating for Elvis stage show due to a large crowd expected. Contact www.thefriartuck.com to make Elvis reservations. Mustache Growing Competition Instructions:
Competitors must shave at the start of lent on February 18 and send beardchampionship@gmail.com a photo of their baby face. Competitors have until April 2nd, the end of lent to grow a mustache. Competitors must also sent a picture of their mustache to beardchampionship@gmail.com on April 2nd to qualify. Winner will be announced Saturday April 4th per the 1953 tradition.
Online Competition Instructions:
You have until 5:00am eastern standard time on February 21, 2026 to submit your photo to the contest.

Online Competition will be judged by a seperate panel of judges who will be remote, and not present at the competition. Judges are not beard competitors and composed of a panel of legitmate barber or accredited hair styling professionals. Judging follows the follow critiera; shape, density, and proportion.
Online winners will be annouced on or about February 21, 2026 on Instagram.com/beardchampionship. Sometimes results are delayed in these contests because we have to wait on judges to return their scores.
PEOPLES CHOICE BONUS COMPETITION INSTRUCTIONS:
If you selected to enter this competition, on February 21, 2026 your photos will be posted to the instagram.com/beardchampionship page. Competitors are incouraged to share their post and the winner will be determined by whomever earns the most cumaltive likes, comments, and shares at the conclusion of the peoples choice contest on March 2nd, 2026.
