    Course Description

    This four-month course is a devotional and biblical study of Psalm 91. Following the five-part structure of the primary text, students will examine divine presence, protection, preservation, partners, and promises. The course emphasizes careful reading of Scripture, responsible interpretation, prayerful reflection, and faithful application in personal life and ministry.

    Course Learning Outcomes

    Explain the structure and central message of Psalm 91 in its biblical and devotional context.

    Distinguish the conditions, assurances, images, and promises presented in Psalm 91.

    Describe how the themes of dwelling, trust, truth, fear, protection, angelic ministry, love, prayer, trouble, honor, long life, and salvation relate to Christian discipleship.

    Compare selected translations of Psalm 91 and explain how wording can shape interpretation.

    Apply the passage thoughtfully to personal formation, pastoral care, and ministry without ignoring context or treating the psalm as a formula.

    Present a clear, Scripture-supported written argument that integrates course readings and practical application.
