Black Love Matters: A Valentine's Day Exhibit
 Performing Artist Application 2026

 Important Details:

- Guaranteed Performance: Each selected act is guaranteed one performance opportunity.

- Performance Duration: Performances generally range from 25 to 55 minutes, with short intermissions, with some flexibility for exceptional circumstances.

- Application Fee: A non-refundable application fee of $25 is required for each submission.

 Application Eligibility:

- Open to a select few music genres, as this is a really special event, poets, live musicians, jazz bands, choirs, orchestra's, R&B and soulful performing artists.

- Black artists from around the globe, including both signed and unsigned talents, are encouraged to apply.

- Please note that not all applicants will be selected for participation.

 Application Process:

- You will receive a confirmation email from Black Art Matters within 2-4 weeks of submission. If you do not receive a notification within this period, please follow up via email to ensure your application has been properly received and is under consideration.

 Artist Wristbands:

- If selected to perform, both international and U.S. artists will receive Artist Wristbands. These wristbands grant access to the event as a distinguished performer and include a plus 4 for your guests.

 Communication:

- To ensure receipt of all important updates and notifications, please add our email address (blackartmatters@gmail.com) to your contact list to prevent our messages from being directed to your spam folder.

 Application Submission:

- Kindly provide the requested information below to apply for Black Love Matters: A Valentine's Day Exhibit. Applications will be reviewed, and you will be informed of your selection status within 2-4 weeks of submission.

By submitting this application to Black Art Matters The Pop Up, LLC (“Black Art Matters The Pop Up”), I acknowledge and agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

I have read and agree to the Black Art Matters Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Code of Conduct. I understand and accept the eligibility criteria, deadlines, and all instructions outlined in this application.

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance into Black Love Matters: A Valentine’s Day Exhibit on February 14, 2026. Only completed applications will be reviewed. Selection decisions are made at the sole discretion of Black Art Matters The Pop Up, and feedback is not required to be provided.

The $25 application fee is non-refundable for any reason. This fee covers the receiving, handling, reviewing, and processing of my application. If I am accepted and the activity I am selected for does not take place for any reason, I may request an application fee waiver for a future event. Questions about fees may be directed to blackartmatters@gmail.com prior to applying.

Black Art Matters The Pop Up will treat my submission information as confidential, but I understand I am responsible for protecting my own intellectual property rights. I acknowledge that sharing creative work online carries inherent risks unless such risks are caused by Black Art Matters’ gross negligence.

I represent and warrant that all information provided is accurate, that I have the rights necessary to submit this application, that my work does not infringe on any third-party rights, and that my participation does not violate any agreements to which I am bound. I agree not to enter into any conflicting agreements.

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Black Art Matters The Pop Up and its affiliates from any claims arising from my breach of these Terms and Conditions or violation of event policies.

Submitting an application does not grant me rights to use Black Art Matters trademarks or proprietary materials. I agree to comply with all trademark guidelines.

If selected to participate, I grant Black Art Matters The Pop Up permission to use my name, likeness, image, biographical information, statements, and any media I provide, as well as media captured during the event, for promotional purposes in any format. I understand I will not receive financial compensation for such use, that materials may be edited, and that Black Art Matters owns all rights to promotional content that includes my likeness.

I consent to the collection and use of my personal data for application review and event communication.

I acknowledge that Black Art Matters The Pop Up may modify event dates, locations, or formats, or suspend or cancel applications for reasons within or beyond its control. Such updates may be posted on the website, and I agree that I will have no remedy if changes occur or if my application is denied or suspended.

These Terms and Conditions will be governed by the laws of California and New York. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction in Los Angeles County, CA, or Kings County, NY.

By submitting this application, I acknowledge that I have read and understand these Terms and Conditions, and I agree to be legally bound by them. I affirm that all information provided is accurate and that my submission does not violate any laws or rights of third parties.
