By submitting the application you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. No refunds for application fees will be given after submission;

2. All applicants will be assessed on their audition work and artistry, with age and training level taken into consideration;

3. Participants will be adjudicated by a professional panel consisting of both internal and external adjudicators;

4. The adjudicators decisions are final and no consultation shall be entered into;

5. All video submissions must be submitted prior to the audition date (5pm 1st February, 2025). Any late applications and submissions will not be considered;

6. Offers to join the 2026 Snow White Company will be issued within one week following the audition date unless otherwise stated by BTQ;

7. Some applicants will be informed and placed on a waiting list. If a company position becomes available, they may be offered that position to join the company.

8. Dancers are placed in an audition class based on their age and training level. If an applicant appears as if they may be at a higher level, BTQ staff may ask that dancer to also participate in the preceding audition. Dancers may be offered a company position in a level other than what they applied for, based on their audition work. Dancers may also be moved up a level once the season rehearsals have commenced.

9. Intermediate dancers are required to have a minimum of 1 year training in pointe shoes at the time of auditions.
Senior dancers are required to have a minimum of 2 years training in pointe shoes at the time of auditions.

10. I have viewed the calendar associated with my dancers application and understand that attendance is mandatory, including for the September Holiday week and January rehearsal and performance weeks. I understand that absenteeism is permitted for ballet exams, concerts and limited dance competitions, at the beginning of the rehearsal season, and that absenteeism for any other reason is at the discretion of BTQ artistic staff.

11. The dancer may be featured in our social media on the audition day. This will be in form of short video clips or in-action pictures. If you do not wish to have your dancer on our social media please email seperately to contact@btq.com.au

12. AUDITION TIMES will be allocated one week prior to the date of your audition. We ask that dancers be avalable from 9am-5pm that day, and specified times will be confirmed the week prior via email.
