Dog Class Terms & Conditions
1. Services Provided
Missed classes are non‑refundable. Handouts or catch‑up guidance may be provided where possible, but replacement sessions cannot be guaranteed.
Weather Conditions: If severe weather affects safety or the effectiveness of training (e.g. extreme heat, heavy storms), classes will be rescheduled at no extra cost.
Bitches in Season: Dogs in season cannot attend classes, as hormonal changes can affect behaviour and wellbeing. Please notify as soon as possible so we can adjust your booking without penalty.
2. Client Responsibilities
Clients are expected to attend classes, ensure their dog is in good health, and provide accurate behavioural and health information at the time of booking.
Children and additional dogs must be supervised at all times to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
Legal Requirement: Under the Animal Welfare Act, all dogs must wear a visible ID tag when in public. Please ensure this is in place before attending class.
3. Results & Progress
Progress varies depending on your dog’s age, temperament, environment, and your consistency with practice between classes. While Maple Tree Dog Training & Doo's Dog Training provides ethical, evidence‑based guidance, individual results may differ.
4. Class Requirements
Dogs attending classes must be up to date with vaccinations appropriate for their age, as advised by your veterinarian.
Please bring:
A well‑fitted harness or flat collar
A standard lead (no retractable leads)
Plenty of high‑value treats
You will be notified in advance of any additional items to be brought with you.
Dogs showing signs of illness, distress, or behaviours that may impact the safety or wellbeing of the group may be asked to leave. Alternative support options will be discussed where appropriate.
5. Safety & Welfare
Dogs that are unwell, injured, or distressed should not participate in classes. If needed, referrals to veterinary or behavioural professionals may be recommended.
6. Data Protection & Privacy
Client data is stored securely in accordance with GDPR.
Photos or videos taken during classes for marketing or social media will only be used with signed consent and will focus on your dog without revealing personal or identifying details.
7. Intellectual Property
All class materials, branding, logos, and educational content provided by Maple Tree Dog Training are protected by copyright and may not be copied, reproduced, or shared without permission.
8. Liability
While every effort is made to ensure safe, supportive classes, Maple Tree Dog Training Ltd accepts no liability for injuries, damages, or loss occurring outside the class environment or resulting from failure to follow guidance.
