FORT FLAGLER, FORT WORDEN AND LIGHTHOUSE WOMEN ONLY Workshop Registration

    Sunday, March 15th, 2026 9am-4pm
  • History, Harbors, and PNW Views: The Forts & Ferries Photography Adventure!

Hey everyone! Get ready for an epic, jam-packed photography adventure combining military history, iconic lighthouses, and those quintessential Washington State ferry views! Join me for a WOMEN ONLY workshop exploring two of the Puget Sound's most fascinating historical parks: Fort Flagler and Fort Worden.

💖 A Supportive Space Just for Women!

This workshop is intentionally limited to a small group of women to create an atmosphere that is 100% low-key, friendly, and totally encouraging!

No Pressure, All Fun: Feel completely comfortable asking any question—big or small! We believe the best learning happens when you feel relaxed and supported.

Built-in Community: Connect with fellow passionate female photographers. You'll leave with new skills and a supportive network to cheer you on long after the workshop is over!

Focus on Creativity: We'll dive deep into technique in a safe, judgment-free zone, empowering you to explore your unique artistic vision with confidence.

Your Day of Discovery & Drama!

Our day starts with a true PNW experience: a scenic ferry ride to the Olympic Peninsula! We'll take advantage of that time right away to capture the unique drama and geometry of the ferries—think reflections, motion, and incredible water views!

Once we reach the Peninsula, we’re heading straight to Marrowstone Island to explore Fort Flagler State Park. We'll dive into:

Historic Forts: Exploring and photographing the famous concrete batteries and historic military buildings.
360-Degree Views: Capturing stunning vistas of the Puget Sound, Admiralty Inlet, and the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
Next up, we drive to Fort Worden State Park in Port Townsend. We’ll spend time capturing the iconic Point Wilson Lighthouse, the beautiful Officers' Row, and whatever cool, forgotten details we find along the water's edge!

    Focus on Storytelling Photography

Throughout the day, we’ll be talking shop and building skills that add oomph to your photos:

Light & Mood: Learning how to harness the light to create atmosphere and drama in your historical and landscape shots.
Composition: Mastering framing, focal ranges, and perspective for both grand, sweeping visuals and small, intimate details like rust and texture.
Technical Talk: Refining those settings to make your images pop!
Great news for your feet! While there will be plenty of walking to cover these large parks, we won't have any major elevation changes to worry about.

    Personalized Learning & Logistics

My workshops are always low key, friendly, and completely encouraging! Whether you're a seasoned pro or just want to level up your travel photography, this is a great way to learn new skills or practice old favorites.

To ensure you get all the personal guidance you need, this adventure is strictly limited to 6 people! I’m committed to working one-on-one with each of you.

Gear: I'll send out a full, detailed gear list once you register.
Ferry Costs: Please be aware that the ferry crossings will involve extra costs. I highly encourage carpooling to share those fees and maximize our conversation time!

    The Learning Continues!

A few days after our trip, we'll hop on a Zoom call! This is the perfect time to review the incredible images we captured, ask lingering technical questions, and receive friendly feedback and gentle critiques (only if you want them!).

Ready to capture the history and breathtaking beauty of the PNW forts? Let's book this unique workshop!
