Get ready for an incredible morning chasing the light and capturing some of the most spectacular mountain and island views the Puget Sound has to offer! Join me for a fun, focused, WOMEN ONLY one-day photography workshop exploring the highlights of Anacortes: Cap Sante Park and Washington Park!

This workshop is intentionally limited to a small group of women to create an atmosphere that is 100% low-key, friendly, and totally encouraging!

Your Sunrise-to-Seashore Adventure!
 

We are starting bright and early to catch an unforgettable sunrise! Our first stop is Cap Sante Park—a photographer's dream!

Mountain Magic: We'll set up to capture the sunrise painting the sky behind majestic Mt. Baker. If the skies are clear (fingers crossed!), we'll even spot Glacier Peak and Mount Rainier in the distance! What a view!
Harbor Scenes: We'll also photograph the unique sight of the Anacortes ferries resting at the dock as the morning light hits the water.
Next, we'll head over to the rugged beauty of Washington Park. Here, we'll explore:

Island Vistas: Capture sweeping views of the San Juan Islands across the water.
Forest & Coast: Photograph the unique contrast of the coastal forests meeting the beautiful beaches and rocky shores.
 

Focusing on Light and Vision
 

Throughout the morning, we'll be working hands-on to elevate your photography skills, covering everything from the grand scale to the intimate detail:

Sunrise Settings: Mastering the quick changes in light for those tricky sunrise exposures.
Composition Power: Creating compelling frames for both sweeping landscapes and close-up coastal shots.
Creative Techniques: We'll explore opportunities for long exposures if the conditions are right (think silky smooth water!) and nail the settings for both expansive and detailed photography.

Photography Workshop Participation Agreement

This Photography Workshop Participation Agreement (the "Agreement") is entered into between the undersigned participant ("Participant") and Lisa Mize Photography ("Organizer"). By signing this Agreement, the Participant agrees to the following terms and conditions:

1. Assumption of Risk
The Participant acknowledges and agrees that participation in the workshop involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

Physical injury (e.g., slips, trips, falls).
Damage to or loss of personal photography equipment.
Environmental risks associated with outdoor locations.
The Participant voluntarily assumes all such risks and agrees to participate at their own discretion.

2. Release of Liability
The Participant agrees to release, waive, and hold harmless Lisa Mize Photography, its employees, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, or liabilities arising from:

Personal injury.
Loss, theft, or damage to personal property or photography equipment.
Any other incident occurring during or related to the workshop.

3. Insurance
The Participant is responsible for securing personal health and equipment insurance. The Organizer does not provide coverage for injuries, illnesses, or damaged/lost equipment.

4. Code of Conduct
The Participant agrees to:

Follow all instructions provided by the Organizer or workshop leaders.
Respect the environment, property, and other participants.
Exercise caution and prioritize safety at all times.

5. Miscellaneous
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state of Washington.
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
By signing below, the Participant confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Agreement.

6. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the workshop date will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days prior to the workshop date will receive a 50% refund or you can transfer the amount to another workshop.
Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the workshop date are non-refundable.

The Organizer reserves the right to cancel the workshop due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.
