A huge thank you | Miigwech to Ash at Rainbow Minerals for inviting me to do two workshops !!
ABOUT Me
Indigenous Artisan and Workshop Facilitator | Entrepreneur | Tourism Professional
Indigenous artisan and workshop facilitator originally from Garden River First Nation. After spending many years in Akwesasne, where I lived, worked and raised my children, I now call Ottawa home.
The Workshops
The Workshops offer a unique opportunity to learn the traditional art of moccasin, mitt or hat making through hands-on, guided instruction. Participants will craft and construct their own pair of beautiful handmade items, gaining not only new skills but also a deep sense of pride and connection.
Open to both beginners and experienced crafters, this workshop provides a fun and welcoming environment where stories are shared, laughter flows, and creativity thrives. Join us for an interactive and engaging session that celebrates culture, community, and craftsmanship — and leave with a renewed sense of fulfillment and gratitude.
