  • 2026 Dune Shack Community Residency

These residencies are open to the general public. Application deadline is January 15th, 2026.
  • Thank you for your application. You may select up to 3 weeks in each shack.

Community Residencies are seleted by lottery. A separate lottery is drawn for each shack and each week of residency.

Fewer people apply for Spring and Fall weeks so your chances to win a residency will be better for those weeks.

The residency rental fee for Fowler is $500/week and for C-Scape is $400. Lottery winners will be emailed a rental agreement that must be returned with the rental fee to confirm the residency.

Community Residencies are for full, seven-day weeks only.  In C-Scape this is Saturday to Saturday.  In Fowler this is Sunday to Sunday.  Partial weeks cannot be accommodated.  Please bear this in mind when selecting the weeks you would like to enter for the lottery. Special transportation request will be charged an additional fee.

  • Please note that several weeks are reserved for special residencies and will not be available in the dropdown.

  • C-Scape Friends

For a $35 membership fee, C-Scape Friends may apply for 3 additional weeks set aside for the Friends only. These three weeks may be applied for in addition to the Community Residency weeks. Friends' Residency rental fees are $400.

C-Scape Friends will also be notified of available weeks when last-minute cancellations occur.  These notifications will be by email and awarded on a first response, first accepted basis.

    C-Scape Friends weeks are:

    [5] May 3 – May 10
    [23] Sep 6 – Sep 13
    [26] Sep 27 – Oct 4
