Neighborhood Residency; Applicants living within specific neighborhood boundaries identified on the application maps may receive priority to support local connection and community participation.

Financial Circumstances; Consideration is given to families whose financial situations may limit access to early childhood programs. Income, household size, and other relevant factors help determine need.

Access for Historically Marginalized Communities; In recognition of historic and systemic barriers to nature-based and outdoor schools, the program gives thoughtful priority to families from groups that have been underrepresented in these learning environments.

    • Co-oping in Your Child's Class

Co-oping is at the heart of our cooperative model. Parents participate in their child’s class on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis (with tiered tuition), helping to create the connected, outdoor-in learning environment that makes our school unique. Through co-oping, parents witness children’s learning up close, build meaningful relationships with teachers and peers, and strengthen the shared community that sustains our program.

      Co-oping Frequency Monthly Tuition
      Weekly 900
      Bi-weekly 975
      Monthly 1050

      Requirements for Participation
To ensure the safety and well-being of all children and adults, families must:

      • Submit up-to-date health and immunization forms for all enrolled children.
      • Complete a criminal background check for all co-oping adults.
      • Participate in training and commit to receiving feedback and direct instruction.
