Kinfire will run from Wednesday 12th to Saturday 15th August 2026 and is based at the Kilkenny College, Castlecomer Rd, Kilkenny, R95 CF61
Kinfire exists to serve the church across Ireland by running an annual event that resources, trains and encourages Christians and churches to reach the world for Christ. We would be delighted if you were able to come and help serve our guests with that goal in mind.

IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE APPLICANT TO ENSURE THEIR REFERENCE FORMS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED BY THEIR NOMINATED REFEREE.
Please note that we cannot guarantee that you will be placed in the team of your choice but we will do our best, considering your gifts and experience as well as the event's needs.
What do you need?
- A love of Christ and His people and to be committed to a lifestyle in keeping with biblical principles.
- To agree with Kinfire's Vision and Values
- To agree with this statement of belief
- The willingness to leave aside any denominational emphasis.
- Commitment to pray for Kinfire – before and during the event.
- Ability to serve in a team and respond positively to leadership.
- The appropriate physical resilience to cope with the demands of the role.
- Be over 18 years of age.
- Provide details of two referees.
- Be willing to undertake a Garda Vetting (background check) if required.
- Contribute financially towards Kinfire. Many volunteers choose to pay full price with the desire to support the festival, if this is an issue there is a reduced fee of €100 to help cover costs.
