    Craft Lake City is partnering with Millcreek for the Third Annual Craft Lake City Makers Mart, held at the Public Market in Millcreek Common. We invite you to apply for this exclusive opportunity to showcase your handmade creations in a cash-and-carry format while helping to enhance Utah’s creative community!

    Event Details:

    • Applications OPEN: November 13, 2025 – February 18, 2026
    • Market Dates: April 6 – May 11, 2026
    • Load-In for Accepted Makers [subject to change]: April 1-5, 2026
    • Makers Mart Mixer: Friday, May 8, 2026, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.

    Requirements & Eligibility:  

    • Because the purpose of the Craft Lake City Makers Mart is to showcase local makers and artisans, preference will be given to applicants whose items are handmade or designed in Utah by the applicant.
    • During the mart dates, accepted makers must check their emails and phone daily, and respond to the Millcreek support staff within 24 hours for important information and inventory restocking needs. 
    • Applicants understand that if accepted, they’re required to attend the Makers Mart Mixer on Friday, May 8, 2026, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Millcreek Common. 
    • Applicants understand that this is a cash & carry model, and that they will not be present during the duration of the market, as it will be staffed by Millcreek. Accepted makers may merchandise their display area in a visually pleasing way to reflect their personality and brand. 
    • Applicants understand that a 25% commission on all sales taken by Millcreek Common, that will go toward Millcreek staffing the market. A final sales report will be presented to you at the end of the Makers Mart by Millcreek.

  • APPLICATION QUESTIONS

  • Shop Space Size: Please choose the size of shop you would like to participate in at the Craft Lake City Makers Mart, if you are accepted.

    Please choose the size of space you would like to exhibit in for your storefront at the Craft Lake City Makers Mart, if you are accepted. The dimensions below indicate the amount of designated floor space you will have in the building for your products and customer foot traffic. Items may not be placed outside of the designated space. Walls will not be provided, but all Makers are encouraged to bring decorations to visually separate them from their neighbor and make their space feel like a small store. Tables and chairs will NOT be provided. Maker is responsible for ensuring that all items have been properly set up. Craft Lake City is not responsible for any damaged merchandise or personal belongings resulting from poorly secured products, furniture, walls, etc. Upon applicant's acceptance into the Craft Lake City Makers Mart at Millcreek Commons. Craft Lake City reserves the right to place accepted makers in the space size they think will best fit their products. Important notes: Keep in mind that these setups are for a retail mart, and artisans will not be on site selling. You will not be charged any fees based on the size of the space you select, the only fee will be commission based on sales, not the size of your space. If needed, electricity will be provided at no cost to accepted makers.

    Strong images of your work are valuable to your application. Focus on capturing images of five single products that can provide insight into your craftsmanship and creativity for the selection committee. Note: By providing these images, applicants give Craft Lake City and Millcreek Common consent to use them in promotional materials if accepted.
