Accessibility: Retreat will be held in or near downtown Toronto, ON. Sessions will include slides and paper handouts; we will not be able to provide an ASL interpreter or ALDs. There will be breaks and a bathroom as well as light refreshments available. Masks strongly encouraged. Presenter bios
Ryder Fox (they/them) founded Stronger U and THRIVE Lifeline. Their almost 30-year career has been dedicated to helping people reclaim their narratives and co-creating consensual pathways toward personalized safety. They and their team provide direct non-carceral care to multiply marginalized survivors through a variety of free and paid services and community resources. Ryder is deeply passionate about educating non-carceral care workers and partnering with organizations who are dedicated to liberatory care practices with their constituents.
Kaitlin Baldwin (she/her) is a Registered Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor who leads a group therapy practice with anti-carceral values. Kaitlin has practiced psychotherapy since 2018 and primarily supports folks navigating complex trauma, domestic violence and abuse, and suicidality in both community mental health and private practice settings. Her approach to trauma-informed care centers autonomy, collaboration, and safety in all aspects. Kaitlin currently supports her community through individual and couples therapy, group therapy, and clinical supervision.
