  • Vendor and Participant Disclaimer

    By participating in or attending the Central Texas BBQ Roundup (CTBR) and Healing Heart Rescue Roundup, each vendor, exhibitor, participant, and volunteer (“Participant”) agrees to the following terms:

    1. Assumption of Risk: Participant understands and acknowledges that involvement in animal adoption, exhibition, or handling activities may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to bites, scratches, allergic reactions, and other injuries. Participant voluntarily assumes all such risks associated with participation.
    2. Indemnification and Hold Harmless: Participant agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Central Texas BBQ Roundup, Healing Heart Rescue Roundup, their officers, directors, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising out of or resulting from any act, omission, or negligence of the Participant, its agents, employees, animals, or volunteers.
    3. No Aggressive Animals: Aggressive or dangerous animals are strictly prohibited. Any animal displaying aggression or posing a threat to the safety of others must be removed immediately upon request of event staff.
    4. Vaccination Requirement: All animals brought onto the premises must have up-to-date vaccinations as required by Texas law. Copies of vaccination records must be provided and kept on file by the Participant.
    5. Personal Injury and Property Damage: Participant agrees that CTBR and Healing Heart Rescue Roundup are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to persons, animals, or property that may occur before, during, or after the event.
    6. Booth Setup, Cleanup, and Animal Waste
      Participant is responsible for setting up and dismantling their booth space and for maintaining the cleanliness of their area throughout the event. All trash, supplies, and animal waste (including poop) must be properly cleaned up and disposed of before leaving the event grounds.

    By signing below (or by entering the event grounds with animals), Participant acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to comply with the above terms and conditions.
