  • Conference Registration Information

    At least one (1) conference session author per submission must register by Monday, December 15th. Papers without registered authors will be removed from the program so that a final program may be provided to attendees in a timely fashion.

    Attendees may register for MOBTS Oceania at CQUniversity Melbourne to be present physically or virtually. Virtual attendees will be part of a hybrid conference experience, interacting and engaging with sessions that are being presented both physically and virtually.

    All conference registrations include a one-year membership to MOBTS, one-year member access to MOBTS.org, a one-year subscription to Journal of Management Education, and a one-year subscription to Management Teaching Review - a $55 value if purchased outside of conference registration.

    Conference registrations completed prior to December 15th for in-person attendance will include our customary MOBTS t-shirts and any other registration items. Registrations after December 15th cannot be guaranteed conference a t-shirt or other conference related items.

    As we are aware travel budgets have been restricted, MOBTS has kept its registration costs constant since the inception of MOBTS Oceania.

    • In-Person Attendance: $400 USD / $616 AUD* / $711 NZD*
    • Virtual Presenters: $150 USD / $231 AUD* / $266 NZD*
    • Virtual (Non-Presenting) Attendees: $100 USD / $154 AUD* / $178 NZD*

    *Spot rate as of November 7, 2025. Non-USD will be tied to USD pricing and may fluctuate.

    The conference itinerary is as follows:

    General conference session programming will run from the morning of February 5 through the afternoon of February 6.

     

    4 February:

    • Early Afternoon Pre-Conference Workshops
      • Additional details soon. These will be pre-conference sessions open to all participants and will include tea service.
    • Opening evening reception with tea reception
    • Dinner on your own (break out into small dinner groups with old friends and new!)

    5 February:

    • General conference programming (all day)
    • Morning and afternoon breaks
    • Lunch
    • Conference Dinner (included in registration)

    6 February:

    • General conference programming (all day)
    • Morning and afternoon breaks
    • Lunch
    • Dinner and drinks (included in registration)

     

    Dinner times and locations will be shared at a later date. This schedule is a preliminary schedule to allow for those who need to proactively register to do so.

    Please let us know if you will be attending the following events on the conference itinerary. Doing so will allow us to best prepare for your attendance and minimize unnecessary waste.

  • Food Accommodations

    Please let us know of your meal preferences and food allergies here. We strive to select food options to accommodate such needs and will do our best to provide you with suitable meals. However, please be aware that it is up to you to double-check with dining staff as to what ingredients are in any particular dish. We apologize in advance, but MOBTS cannot cater toward more specific diets such as Kosher, Keto, etc. We will do our best to accommodate those that select Vegetarian and Vegan; however, please be aware that your selections will not be as plentiful as standard offerings.
