  • The First Annual Miss Coal County Pageant. Presented by Cats Gone Wild Performance Dance will be hosted at the Coal County Fair Barn on Saturday, January 10th!

     

    Make sure to follow the rules and submit your entry before the deadline which is Friday, January 9th, at 9:00 PM. Form must be completed for entry. Registration on the day of event begins at 8am. Pageant will start promptly at 10am. All Category winners will receive a sash and crown along with their title. The category titles will be as listed.

  • Contest Rules

  • Age divisions are as follows

    • 0-3 Tiniest Miss Coal County
    • 4-8 Little Miss Coal County
    • 9-13 Junior Miss Coal County
    • 14-18 Miss Coal County
    • Proof of Age may be required.
    • Completed application and entry fee must be submitted by the posted deadline of January 9th. 
    • Entry fees are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organizer.
    • Parental or guardian consent is required for all contestants under the age of 18.
    • Late entries may be accepted with an additional fee (if space allows).
    • The competition categories will be as follows.
      • Formal Wear-Contestants will be judged on poise, confidence, and presentation.
      • Interview/Philanthropy-A brief interview with judges to access communication skills and character. 
      • Talent (Optional)-Performance may not exceed 2 minutes. Appropriate content required. 
    • Contestants must handle their own wardrope changes with parental assistance backstage.
    • At no time should any contestant be left unmonitored by parent or guardian.
    • Props for talent or theme must be pre-approved for safety reasons.
    • Judging and Scoring will be handled by a group of qualified members of the Coal County community and each contestant will be scored independently.
      • Scores are confidential and will not be shared publicly. 
      • The decision of the judges is FINAL.
    • Contestants and parents consent to the use of photography or videography for promotional purposes.
    • The pageant director, Stefanie Lane, reserves all rights to adjust rules, divisions, or schedule if necessary. 
    • Any concerns must be directed respectfully to the director - NOT the judges. 
    • All participants should remember: the focus is on confidence, friendship, and community spirit, not just competition. After all, this is a fundraiser. 
      • Pageant is not responsible for any accidents, lost or stolen items.
    • Miss Coal County is not in any way affiliated with the Miss Oklahoma or Miss USA organizations.

      Entry Fee

      This fee covers the cost of the contestants entrance into the pageant contest. Each contestant will be given 2 wristbands for admission into the venue. One for the contestant, one for a parent or guardian. All other family members or spectators must pay the general admission fee at the front entrance.
