    Thank you for your interest in being a vendor at Wake Forest's 3rd Annual Pride Celebration!
    Last year we had around 4,000 people attend and we expect even more this year!


    This event will be held in Downtown Wake Forest (E Owens Ave & S. Brooks St) on Saturday October 10th

     

    This event is put on by Wake Forest Pride:

    Wake Forest Pride is a nonprofit dedicated to bettering our community by creating safe spaces, fostering inclusivity, and promoting equality for all regardless of gender or sexual orientation. 

     

    FAQs

     When are applications due?

    Applications are due by September 5th

     
    When will we find out if we're accepted?

    You will be notified of approval by email within 4 weeks of submitting your application.

    If you are accepted, a detailed set-up email will be sent out a week before the festival.

    What are the vendor fees?

    $10 - Application Fee

    $95 - Vendor Fee (reserved 10x10 spot)

    $75 - Repeat Vendor Vendor Fee (if application is submitted before June 1)

     

    How do we pay?

    The application fee will be charged when submitting this application.

    If accepted, a link to pay will be emailed to you. You have 1 week from receipt to pay the vendor fee.

     

  • Please read the following thoroughly, as changes have been made since 2025

    TERMS & CONDITIONS

    Vendor Responsibility and Liability:

    • Vendors are responsible for the security of their booths and belongings. Wake Forest Pride and the Town of Wake Forest are not responsible for any theft, damage, or loss to vendor property. 

     

    • Vendors are responsible for the actions of their employees, volunteers, and representatives. 

     

    • Vendors agree to release and hold harmless Wake Forest Pride, the Town of Wake Forest, their employees, and Board of Directors from any and all liability for injury, loss, or damage suffered or incurred by the vendor, their employees, volunteers, or representatives during Wake Forest Pride Fest, including setup, teardown, and the event itself. 

     

    • Vendors further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the aforementioned entities from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs (including attorney's fees), arising from or related to the vendor's participation in the event, including any injury or damage to persons or property caused by the vendor, their employees, volunteers, or representatives.
  • Vendor Restrictions and Requirements 

     

    • Multi-level marketing (MLM) businesses are prohibited.
      Third-party selling (i.e, mass-produced items not created by the vendor) is prohibited.

     

    • Any vendor selling food (*note food trucks have a separate application) must have proper permitting. This includes home-baked goods.

     

    • Vendors may only display and sell their own work. Displaying the work of other artists who have not been accepted as vendors is prohibited.

     

    • Small business service vendors (e.g., tarot reading, dog training, henna artists, etc.) are welcome.

     

    • All products and company representations must be family-friendly.

     

    • In following the Town of Wake Forest's policy, vendors are not allowed to play music or have any other amplified noise.

     

    • No political groups or merchandise (this is due to Wake Forest Pride’s status as a 501(c)(3) and The Town of Wake Forest’s event policy).

     

    • Wake Forest Pride has the right to revoke any products that do not align with photos submitted during the application /process or are discovered to be from a 3rd party seller. 

     

    • Vendors must provide their own tables and tents. Tents must be no larger than 10x10 and must be secured with weights (stakes are prohibited).

     

    • No electricity will be provided to vendors.

     

    • Vendors must attend the entire festival. Early breakdown or late arrival is not permitted. 

     

    • In order to provide a varied shopping experience for attendees and to make sure all our vendors are successful, we have put caps on the number of the following categories that will be accepted:
      • Candles, Crystals, Crochet, Permanent Jewelry, Sublimation, 3D printed

     

    • Everyone is welcome and encouraged to apply. However, in keeping with the spirit of pride, and to support LGBTQIA+ economic empowerment, priority consideration will be given to LGBTQIA+-owned businesses.

     

    Cancellation Policy 

    This event is rain or shine.  Vendor fees are non-refundable, as costs associated with organizing the event are incurred regardless of weather.


    Cancellations made more than one month prior to the event may be eligible for a 50% refund of the vendor fee, upon written request via email.


    Cancellations made within one month but more than 72 hours prior to the event may be eligible for a 10% refund of the vendor fee, upon written request via email.
     

    No refunds will be given for cancellations within 72 hours of the event.


    In the event of festival cancellation due to circumstances beyond the control of Wake Forest Pride (e.g., extreme weather), a partial refund of the vendor fee may be issued at the discretion of Wake Forest Pride.
