November Pediatric School-Based SIS Meeting
Learning Outcomes:
1. Become aware of the opportunity available from Donors Choose to obtain needed supplies and equipment for use in the school setting.
2. Learn how to complete the application to receive funding from Donors Choose.
3. Be inspired to request funding for yourself!
Donors Choose is a non-profit organization that allows people who work in education to request the purchase of items for use in schools so they spend less of their own money. The purpose of this presentation is to inspire occupational therapy practitioners to use Donors Choose as a resource and to demonstrate how to request funds for themselves.
About the Speaker:
Valerie is currently the Co-Chair of the School Based SIS for ArizOTA. She learned from teachers about Donors Choose and has had 6 projects fully funded.

Cost: Free for ArizOTA members; $10 for non-members
CEUs: Those who attend this presentation live will earn 1 CEU credit. You will complete an attestation form to immediately receive your CEU certificate following the event.
