Minimum age 8 on the day and it is your age on 31 Aug 2025 that determines the age group (apart from Masters which is your age on the day of the race). U13 race competitors must be 11 at 31/08/2025

Strictly no entries on the day, last day for entry Sunday 14th December 2025

Awards 

Championship Medals to first 3 individuals (must be SW qualified *)

Top 3 Team Medals for Club Teams (5 men to score and 4 to score in all other races)
U20M and U20W and Masters are included as part of senior teams. Clubs must be based in the SW Region* to qualify.

Top 3 Team Medals for SW County Teams* (6 seniors to score and 4 to score in all other races)

NOTE: U11s is a development race only and all finishers receive a medals but there are no individual or team awards

Parking

Parking is available next to course. Please follow advice of parking marshals. Please note it is a military site so restrictions will be in place.

As an operating airfield, Merryfield is a no litter area and all who attend must take home any litter.

Race information and numbers

Race information and numbers will be available from a tent near the start.

Portable Toilets are available on site. No changing available.
The course is undulating grassland. First Aid will be provided.

Entry fee £9 Juniors (U11-U17) and £11 Seniors (includes U20 and Masters).
All entrants must have a SW* qualification by birth or residence.

Non-EA affiliated senior athletes entry fee £13

* The SW Region consists of the following counties Avon, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire
Athletes must have either birth or residence qualification in one of these counties to qualify for medals.

STRICTLY NO REFUNDS AFTER CLOSING DATE

Any refunds before the closing date are at the discretion of the organisers and a service charge may be deducted from any refund issued.

To comply with new MOD requirements, we need the names of all who will be attending the event. Please individually list any parents, family, friends or coaches that may be attending the championships below.

All entrants shall be deemed to have made him/herself familiar with, and agreed to be bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules and to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping in the application and enforcement of the Anti-Doping Rules. The UKA Anti-Doping Rules apply to entrants participating in the sport of Athletics, for 12 months from the [date of entry], whether or not the entrant is a citizen of, or resident in, the UK. Please note, entry fees are being processed by Yeovil Olympiads Athletics Club on behalf of England Athletics SW Region. Your bank statement will reference 'SQ *YEOVIL OLYMPIADS' but all entry fees will be transferred directly to EA SW Region
