WARNING
UNDER TEXAS LAW (CHAPTER 87, CIVIL PRACTICE AND REMEDIES CODE), A LIVESTOCK SHOW SPONSOR IS NOT LIABLE FOR AN INJURY TO OR THE DEATH OF A PARTICIPANT IN A LIVESTOCK SHOW RESULTING FROM THE INHERENT RISKS OF LIVESTOCK SHOW ACTIVITIES.
In consideration for entry as a participant in The Next Level Goat Tying School, Stacey Elias Martin goat tying and/or riding lessons, the undersigned participant (“participant”) does hereby waive and release Stacey Elias Martin, any and all affiliates, charities, sponsors, advertisers and/or any and all affiliated persons or organizations along with each and every one of their successors, assigns, officers, directors, employees, advisers, agents, and/or representatives of any and all liability and/or damages which are associated with participants participating in the event. This release and waiver includes but is not limited to the release of liability for the following:
*Bodily Injury
*Damage, Injury, Vandalism, or theft of any participant's property
*Damage, Injury, Theft, or Death of participant's horse or horses
*Any and all other injuries, damages or liabilities, which may arise as a result of participant's participation while in attendance of the event
This release and waiver is effective as to all phases of the event and include all time periods and is not limited to the actual time in which the participant is actively involved in competitive riding. This release and waiver are effective not only as to the undersigned participant but also to the participant's heirs, family members, and any and all persons or entities claiming any legal rights as a result of any loss, damage, injury, theft, death or damages in any way occasioned by or related to the event or participant’s participation in that event.
Participant hereby agrees and consents to release and forever hold harmless Stacey Elias Martin, The Martin family, any and all affiliated, charities, sponsors, advertisers, and/or any and all affiliated persons or organizations along with each and every one of their successors, assigns, officers, directors, employees, advisors, agents and/or representatives for any damages, injuries, losses, liability, death or any and all claim, cross-claim, third party action or otherwise as a result of participants participation in the event.
As used in this release and waiver the term “participation” shall not be construed or interpreted only to mean the actual times at which participant is physically involved in competition, but “participation” as used herein shall mean all phases and aspects of participants’ involvement in the event including but not limited to travel to and from the event and any other activities or occurrences in any way related to the event and participant’s participation or attendance at the event.
The undersigned participant acknowledges and certifies that he/she has read and understands the agreement in its entirety and that he is executing this agreement as partial consideration for his right to participate in the event.
