Camp Rhino Registration

Welcome to Camp Rhino! Harmony School is partnering with local organizations such as WFHB, teachers, and community members in order to provide winter break camps here in Bloomington, Indiana. We are so excited to offer a diverse variety of opportunities to students in 1st through 12th grades. We look forward to hosting children and teens from all across our local community.

December 29th - 31st Camp Rhino Details
- Drop-off begins at 11:45 PM
- Campers must be picked up by 4:15 PM at the latest
- If the camper is not picked up by 4:15 PM, a fee of $1 per minute will be charged. Please ensure prompt pickup to avoid any additional costs
Zevon Winter Camp:
- Hours: 9am - 5pm
- Ages: Grades 1st - 8th
- Price: $160.00
Things to Bring:

✓ Any snacks/lunch needed
✓ A notebook & pen/pencil
✓ A water bottle
✓ Warm clothes for playing outside
✓ Any daily medications or emergency medications that need to be on hand (inhalers, epi pens, etc)

Refund Policy:
- In you are un-enrolling a camper:
  - Prior to December 1st, a full refund will be given (minus an administrative fee of $15)
  - From December 2nd - December 15th, a 75% refund will be given (minus an administrative fee of $15)
  - From December 16th - December 19th, a 50% refund will be given (minus an administrative fee of $15)
  - After December 20th, no refund will be given
- If camp is canceled due to an event out of the control of Harmony School (such as: weather event etc.) there will not be a refund

Camp Descriptions
Dive into the world of radio this winter break at Youth Radio Camp at Harmony School. Over the 3 days of camp, you’ll learn how to share your perspective with the community through music, news, and podcasts. Each day focuses on a different side of WFHB’s Youth Radio Program (Saturdays, 4-8pm):

Day 1 | Music:
- Come up with a DJ name, discover new music, and curate a playlist fit for the radio
Day 2 | News:
- Learn the basics of journalism, interview tips, and how to report on the local news
Day 3 | Podcasting:
- Build your own pre-recorded show around a topic you care about

Guest speakers will be arranged to lead workshops. Recordings from this camp will air on WFHB (91.3FM) during Youth Radio on a Saturday in January, and participants are welcome to continue developing their radio skills by joining Youth Radio after the camp.
