2026 First Friday Artist Registration
First Friday Art Crawls are held monthly and provide participants with the opportunity to showcase, sell, and/or perform their work in downtown Boone.

Completing this form registers you as a general artist participant for First Fridays and provides Watauga Arts Council (WAC) with the information needed to promote you. Participation typically requires a $60 annual registration fee, unless otherwise stated. If the registration fee presents a barrier, please contact Krista at admin@watauga-arts.org. We are happy to work something out with you.

By submitting this form, you confirm that you are a First Friday participant. Each month, WAC staff will email all registered participants with event-specific details, including setup guidelines, vendor zones, parking information, and next steps for the upcoming First Friday.

We aim to send these monthly emails approximately one week before First Friday. During busier times of the year, this communication may arrive closer to the event date. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

We have lots of ideas for making First Fridays in 2026 even better, and we want to hear what you think. Let us know your interest in the ideas below!
If we are able to secure Farm Cafe for an indoor market during colder months, which months would you like to vend indoors for First Friday Art Crawl? We may need a lead artist to agree to turn off lights and lock up after it is over. Please indicate your interest in being a lead. (Please note: Your answers are not definitive. This will simply help us gauge interest)

We’re currently considering hours around 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with some flexibility depending on participating artists. Space would be limited, and not all interested vendors may be able to participate. Again, this is simply to help us gauge interest.
