Family Education Workshop: All Behavior is Communication Logo
  • All Behavior is Communication:

    A brain-based approach to parenting
  • Workshop Description

In this workshop parents and caregivers will learn how their child’s developing brain and nervous system impact their emotions, behaviors and ability to cope with everyday challenges. Parents and caregivers will be introduced to the PACE model by Dr. Daniel Hughes (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy). PACE is a powerful parenting attitude which helps parents connect to their child and respond to challenging behaviors with greater confidence and compassion. Participants will leave with practical tools to strengthen co-regulation and connection with their children.
