Code Of Conduct
To be read in conjunction with the constitution and the social media policy of the Australian Call Duck Club Inc
The Australian Call Duck Breed Standard is a written criterion developed by the Australian Poultry Standards and accepted by the Australian Call Duck Club which describes the ideal Call Duck
Members shall strive to breed for the purpose of improving the quality of the breed, and not for commercial purpose.
Members will not denigrate any other member and /or their ducks
To assist in a positive reflection on our breed, members are encouraged in a constructive and positive manner, to: share expertise, encourage and sup- port newcomers to the breed, seek out and strive to keep abreast of the latest information, not only in relation to health and care aspects of the breed but also organizational-changes and amendments to rules and guidelines of relevant bodies
As a member of the Australian Call Duck Club I/WE hereby agree that:
I/we will conduct myself at all times in a manner that is a credit to club.
I/we will abide by the constitution, regulations and support the APS standard for the Australian Call Duck
I/we shall always be dedicated to the preservation and welfare of the Australian Call Duck
I/we should not use any method of communication whatsoever in a way that could be considered defamatory, insulting, or detrimental to another member, or the club or to the breed in general.
I/we will ensure that the Duck(s) welfare takes precedence over the interests of myself, owners, breeders, officials (including judges and stewards, organisations, and sponsors
I/we will always display good sportsmanship and conduct myself in such a manner that will reflect positively on my club.
I/we shall ensure that all Ducks under my care are properly housed, fed, watered, and receive veterinary care as required.
Member who are approved for the club breeding list shall; only sell Ducks in good health, condition and to their knowledge free from any com-municable diseases parasites and/or free from any genetic conditions.
Members will not knowingly sell any Duck(S) that have defects of a nature that is detrimental to the breed.
Members shall not knowingly misrepresent the characteristics of the breed, nor falsely advertise, or mislead and person in shall adhere to proper and ethical business practices when breeding and selling.
