General Information

Parade lineup will take place at Burke High School, located at 244 President Street, Charleston, SC 24903, on Monday, January 19, 2026, starting at 8:00 AM. The parade will begin promptly at 10:00 AM. Please arrive on time to ensure a smooth and timely procession. We look forward to seeing you there!

Parade Participation Standards
All participants agree that any signage, verbal expressions, visual displays, costumes, decorations, or other materials presented during the parade must reflect and uphold the mission of the YWCA of Greater Charleston and the principles of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., including peace, equality, justice, and respect for all people.

Any form of hate speech—whether explicit or implied—and any imagery, language, or behavior that could reasonably be perceived as divisive, discriminatory, harassing, or inconsistent with the values listed above will not be permitted. The parade organizers reserve the right to remove or deny participation to any individual or group not adhering to these standards.
