Klondike event stations will challenge scouts & venturers with scouting skills such as fire building, navigating with map & compass, first aid, teamwork and problem solving.
Potential stations include:
Fire Building
Archery
Rifle
Orienteering
Winter Shelter Building
Knot & Lashing Challenge
Obstacle Course
Slingshot
ScoutsBSA troops & Venturing crews are invited! Registration includes participation in the event, an embroidered hat, patch, and space for your unit to camp. Units are responsible for their own meals.
Each Troop and crew that participates is asked to run or assist at one station. This gives you a chance to participate in the program planning and judging of the competition.
COST: $15 per participant (youth and adult), adults who do not wish to receive an embroidered hat are free.
DEADLINE: The last day to register & receive hats for your unit is January 25th. Registration will close on February 6th.
