Right now our local economy is taking a hit and the pulse of neighborhood commerce is slowing. This is not a moment for fear but for action. By sponsoring the Abuelita Hot Chocolate 5K Run/Walk, you’ll help inject funds and visibility into immigrant and family-owned businesses so they can survive and thrive.

We’re seeking sponsorships to cover essential race day logistics like bibs, medals, stage setup, route materials, merchandise, and portable restrooms. This ensures that 100% of registration proceeds go directly back to supporting our local small businesses providing hot chocolate, tamales, DJ services, and mariachi entertainment, keeping EVERY dollar circulating within our community.

The Abuelita Hot Chocolate 5K isn’t just a race, it’s a movement that keeps dollars circulating where they matter most. Every dollar raised after event costs goes directly back to our small businesses members and small business community through our Chamber’s reinvestment program.

Event Details
📅 Saturday, November 8, 2025
📍 Riis Park – 6100 W Fullerton Ave (Entrance on Meade)
🕖 7 AM – 1 PM
Bib & Merch Pickup starts at 7:00 AM | Race Start 9:00 AM

Participants will enjoy a timed 5K through Riis Park, live music at each mile, Abuelita hot chocolate and tamales from local vendors, a mariachi finish line, and a family-friendly after-party celebration.

Only resource or informational booths allowed (no food or drink vendors).
