Curious about sourdough but not sure where to start? This fun, no-stress workshop is perfect for total beginners who want to learn how to bake delicious, crusty loaves right from home—no fancy equipment or experience required!
We’ll demystify the sourdough process together and cover:
What the heck a starter is (and how to keep it alive!)
Mixing, folding, shaping, and proofing—don’t worry, we’ll explain it all
Scoring like a pro (or at least like someone who owns a bread knife)
Baking tips to get that golden crust and airy, chewy middle
Plus, you’ll get to sample several delicious flavors of sourdough bread to spark your creativity! From classic to adventurous, we’ll have a variety of loaves for you to taste and get inspired.
You’ll leave with:
- Your own sourdough starter (aka your new kitchen pet)
- A fresh loaf you made yourself (ready to sit then bake)
- A simple step-by-step guide to keep you baking at home
- A head full of bread puns and a heart full of carbs
