    • Rider submitting scores must be a member of PAWDA in good standing at the time scores are earned

       - Registration fee of $35 due at time of submission of first score, scores may be submitted at any time during the program year they are earned however only the top 5 scores earned will be counted in determining placing

       - If you choose to apply for recognition in multiple categories (ex. basic level adult amateur and musical freestyle) you must submit a fee for each separate horse/rider and category combination

       - There is no limit to the number of horse/rider combinations for which a rider may submit scores and horses may be ridden by multiple riders. Each horse/rider combination must be entered separately and pay a separate registration fee

       - A single horse/rider combination may apply for year-end award in two consecutive levels

       - A single horse/rider combination may only win High point champion a maximum of two times at any single level

       - Qualified scores for the current year may be earned between December 1 and November 30th

       - Scores with $35 fee must be submitted by December 1

       - Placing will be determined by average score

       - A champion and reserve champion will be awarded in each section of each category with ribbons for first through 6th place, which may be increased for large divisions

       - In case of a tie, the tie will be broken by the highest average harmony scores, then the highest average of all coefficient scores


      Recognition will be offered at the following levels:

      Intro
      Basic
      Levels 1 through 5, split by level
      Musical Freestyle
      Therapeutic
      Rail and Pattern (Horsemanship and Dressage seat combined equiation only)
       

       - Introductory, basic and level 1-5 will be split into the following divisions: Amateur, open, youth (18 or under as of December 1st)

       - Musical Freestyle, rail/pattern and therapeutic classes will not be split into divisions unless entries permit doing so (8 or more entries will permit splitting into divisions ex. adult amateur, open)

      Schooling High Point
      - A horse rider/pair must submit a total of 5 tests from 3 different shows

      - More than 5 tests may be submitted however only the top 5 scores will be counted toward the high point average score

      - Placing will be determined by average score

      - Scores must be submitted from a minimum of 2 different judges

      Criteria for qualifying schooling shows:

       Judge must be USDF “L” or higher AND arena must be regulation 20x40 or 20x60 meters as prescribed by test and level be ridden 
      Fix-a-test scores are not allowed 
       
      Recognized/Virtual High Point
      - A horse/rider pair must submit a total 3 tests from 2 different shows

      - More than 3 tests may be submitted however only the top 3 scores will be counted toward the high point average score

      - Scores must be submitted from a minimum 2 different judges

      - Placing will be determined by average score

       - Scores must be from shows that are WDAA Sanctioned

      - Online virtual show scores may be included, they must be WDAA recognized and judged by a WDAA “r” or “R” judge as prescribed by the level ridden. WDAA Online international show is automatically included

    • - Participant must be a current PAWDA member at time scores are earned 

      - Scores may come from WDAA recognized shows, WDAA world show, USEF recognized shows or schooling shows

      - WDAA online virtual show scores may be included, they must be WDAA recognized and judged by a WDAA “r” or “R” judge as prescribed by the level ridden. WDAA Online international show is automatically included

      - Criteria for qualifying schooling shows:

       

      Judge must be USDF “L” or higher AND arena must be regulation 20x40 or 20x60 meters as prescribed by test and level be ridden 
      Fix-a-test scores are not allowed 
       

      - Scores may be earned on multiple horses over a period of multiple years 

      - Scores never expire 

      - Medals may be earned out of turn

      - Scores submitted must be 65% or higher

      - Scores must come from a minimum of two (2) different judges at three (3) different shows

      - Registration fee due at time of submission of application

      - Submit application, $35 fee and score sheets at one time

      - To submit scores, send us a photo of the back of the score sheet via email to info@pawda.org. Ensure the score sheet includes the below information:

       

      Test ridden and division ex. WDAA Basic Level test 2 – amateur
      Judge’s signature
      Date and name of show
      Your name
      Horse’s name
      Final score and percentage 
       
      Medal Requirements


      Bronze Medal

      6 scores of 65% or higher. 2 scores at intro level and 4 scores at basic level OR 6 total scores at basic level


      Silver Medal

       6 scores 65% or higher. 3 scores at level 1 and 3 scores at level 2
       

      Gold Medal

      6 scores 65% or higher. 3 scores at level 3 and 3 scores at level 4 or above


       
      Freestyle Bronze

      4 scores of 65% or higher. 2 scores at intro level and 2 scores at basic level OR 4 scores at basic level
       

      Freestyle Silver

      4 scores of 65% or higher. 2 scores at level 1 and 2 scores at level 2
       

      Freestyle Gold

      4 scores of 65% or higher. 2 scores at level 3 and 2 scores at level 4 or above
       


      Therapeutic Bronze Medal

      4 scores of 65% from either Leadline Walk Only test or Coached Walk Only test 
       

      Therapeutic Silver Medal

       4 scores of 65% at either Leadline A or Coached 1 or 2 Test
       

      Therapeutic Gold Medal

       4 scores of 65% at either Leadline B or Coached 3 Test
