The Breed Academy After School Program 

The Breed Academy After-School Program is a creative and academic enrichment program for youth ages 13–18. Founded by Grammy Award-winning producers The Breed, the program provides a safe and productive environment where students can explore music, arts, and digital media while also receiving academic support, mentorship, and life skills training.

Our mission is to activate young creatives, help them succeed in school, and prepare them for future opportunities — whether that’s higher education, entrepreneurship, or advancing into our next-level Producers Lab Program for young adults.

Program Dates: October 6, 2025 – June 12, 2026
Location: 295 Treadwell Street, Hamden, CT 06514 (Skiro Studios)

Format: In-person, Monday - Thursday

4:00–6:00 PM

Tuition :$60/week

 

 

What Students Learn:

What Students Will Learn
Creative Skills – Music production, songwriting, recording, digital media, theater, dance, and visual arts.

 Academic Support – Tutoring, homework help, literacy, and STEM enrichment to improve school performance.

Life Skills & Mentorship – Leadership, teamwork, conflict resolution, emotional wellness, and decision-making.

 Community & Career Readiness – Service projects, public showcases, and preparation for college, entrepreneurship, or advanced training in our Producers Lab Program.ss of producing

Consent & Agreements
By enrolling my child in The Breed Academy After-School Program, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

Participation & Supervision

I give permission for my child to fully participate in all program activities, including academic support, creative arts, mentorship, and community engagement.
I understand that The Breed Academy staff will supervise participants, but I remain the legal guardian responsible for my child.
Safety & Conduct

The program is designed to provide a safe, supportive, and violence-preventive environment.
Students are expected to respect staff, peers, and facilities. Repeated disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the program.
Medical & Emergency Care

I authorize The Breed Academy staff to provide basic first aid if necessary.
In case of an emergency, I consent to medical treatment for my child and understand that I will be contacted immediately.
I have listed all allergies, medical conditions, or special needs in the enrollment form.
Media & Photography Release

I grant permission for my child to be photographed, filmed, or recorded during program activities for educational and promotional purposes (e.g., social media, website, flyers).
I do NOT consent to media usage of my child. (opt-out option)
Transportation & Pick-Up

I confirm that only the individuals I listed as authorized may pick up my child.
I understand it is my responsibility to ensure my child’s safe transportation to and from the program.
Liability Waiver

I release The Breed Academy, Skiro Studios, its staff, and partners from any liability for injuries, accidents, or incidents that may occur, except in cases of gross negligence.
Program Fees

I understand that the program cost is $60 per student, per week, with rolling enrollment.
Payments are due according to the schedule communicated by The Breed Academy.
