Frequency Fest NYC Performance Waiver Request

At Frequency Fest NYC, we are committed to supporting artists of all backgrounds. Financial barriers should never prevent talented performers from sharing their work. We offer a limited number of hardship waivers.

This waiver is valid for July 11th & 12, 2026

How The Waiver Works:

Waivers are granted on a limited, first-come, first-considered basis.
Most waivers reduce the application fee; full waivers may be available in special cases.
No documents or proof are required, only honesty.

If granted, you may be asked to support the festival in alternative ways, such as promoting the event or volunteering.

I am requesting a hardship waiver for the $35 application fee.

Terms and Conditions
By submitting this application to Frequency Fest NYC, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

1. Agreement to Policies
I have read and agree to the Frequency Fest NYC Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Code of Conduct. I accept the application terms, including eligibility criteria and deadlines.

2. Application Fee
I understand the $35 application fee is non-refundable and does not guarantee selection or reimbursement. This fee covers administrative and promotional costs.

3. Application Review & Selection
Only complete applications will be reviewed. Selection is at the sole discretion of Frequency Fest NYC based on criteria outlined in this application. Feedback is not guaranteed.

4. Fee Waiver Policy
If accepted but my activity does not take place, I may request a waiver of the application fee for the next Frequency Fest NYC event.

5. Confidentiality & Intellectual Property
I acknowledge my submission is confidential, but I am responsible for protecting my intellectual property. Sharing online carries piracy risks which I assume unless due to Frequency Fest NYC gross negligence.

6. Representations & Warranties
I confirm all info is accurate, I own rights to my submission, and participation does not violate any laws or agreements. I will not enter agreements conflicting with these warranties.

7. Indemnification
I indemnify and hold harmless Frequency Fest NYC and affiliates from any claims arising from my breach of these Terms.

8. Trademark Use
This application does not grant rights to Frequency Fest NYC trademarks. I agree to comply with their Trademark Guidelines.

9. Use of Likeness
I consent to Frequency Fest NYC’s use of my name, likeness, image, voice, and biography for promotional purposes without further approval or compensation.

10. Data Processing
I consent to Frequency Fest NYC processing my personal data to review my application and communicate with me.

11. Event Modifications & Cancellation
Frequency Fest NYC may modify dates, locations, or cancel/suspend the event or applications. Notifications will be posted on their website. I waive claims related to such changes.

12. Governing Law & Venue
These Terms are governed by, New York and New Jersey laws. Disputes will be resolved in courts in Kings County, NY, or Essex County, NJ.

I understand that the FFNYC Hardship Waiver functions the same way as the original application and is subject to the same guidelines, rules, regulations, and deadlines.I understand that submitting this waiver does not guarantee a performance slot; I must still complete the main FFNYC applicationI understand that submitting the waiver is a part of the official application process and all information will be treated as part of my FFNYC submissionI confirm that all information provided is truthful.I agree to respect the confidentiality of the process and the integrity of Frequency Fest NYC’s application system.If granted a waiver, I agree to support Frequency Fest NYC in alternative ways, such as event promotion or volunteering
