    2026 Budget and Tax Briefing
    March 26-27, 2026

    Convene, 1201 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA 

    This year's funder briefing will be a two-day event starting with dialogue around visionary approaches to revenue generation and public benefit access, followed by an analysis of the current budget and tax landscape and strategizing for what comes next.

  • This program is reserved for grantmakers who work for a qualifying philanthropy. This includes staff from:

    • Community Foundations
    • Corporate Foundations and Corporate Responsibility/Giving Programs
    • Donor Advised Funds
    • Funder Networks or Collaboratives
    • Health Conversion Foundations
    • Operating Foundations whose primary activity is grantmaking
    • Pooled Funds where some joint decision-making by donors is offered
    • Private, Independent, and Family Foundations
    • Public Charities whose primary activity is grantmaking
    • Public Funding Agencies
    • United Ways that serve the community as a grantmaker
    • Venture Philanthropy

    You MAY qualify if you are a consultant or advisor who is currently contracted by a qualifying philanthropy and participate as a representative of that institution. Please contact Cema Siegel at csiegel@eofnetwork.org to confirm your eligibilty before registering.

    The following DO NOT qualify: 

    • Fundraising or development staff. Eligible participants must oversee or manage an organization’s giving programs.
    • Staff from institutions whose primary function is not philanthropic, including those that regrant funds.
    • Staff from grantmaking institutions that only make grants to their members or affiliates.

  • EOF MEETING POLICIES

    Confidentiality and Identity Attestation 

    I attest to my identity as represented and agree to keep confidential all information shared with me either directly or indirectly. Photography, video or audio recording, and scanning or copying of materials by any device is expressly not allowed unless written permission has been provided.

    Health and Safety

    There are no vaccination, masking, or health screening requirements to participate.

    We ask that you help us reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 and other respiratory and infectious diseases by refraining from participating if you have tested positive for COVID-19 or are experiencing symptoms, including for a cold, flu, RSV, etc.

    Waiver

    By registering for the 2026 Budget and Tax Briefing, you assume, and release Economic Opportunity Funders and all of its affiliates from all risks, claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses resulting from or arising in connection with your participation at the conference and all risks of harm, damage, or illness.

    Non-Solicitation Policy
    In order to provide a distraction-free environment for our members and other attendees, EOF does not allow solicitation of any kind during our events, including asking for business, soliciting fund management services, distributing grant proposals, or requesting grant funding. Additionally, EOF members expect that participation in our events will not result in future solicitations unless the member specifically invites future contact. Accordingly, we ask that all participants at EOF events refrain from using attendee lists or similar information for solicitation purposes without the express permission of EOF.

    Photography/Video Documentation Policy
    In consideration for being able to attend the EOF Convening, you agree to allow authorized associates/vendors of the EOF Convening, its licensees, successors, and assignees full and complete irrevocable permission, without reservation or restriction, to be photographed/recorded at the EOF convening, in any manner (video, audio, or electronic, etc.) and for them to use said photograph(s)/recording(s) as they deem appropriate in connection with the EOF Convening or any EOF related activities. If you do not authorize use, you must submit in writing to csiegel@eofnetwork.org.

    Cancellation/Substitution Policy
    All cancellations will be subject to a $25 administrative fee. All cancellations must be submitted in writing on or before March 6, 2026. No requests for refunds will be granted after this date or for no shows. Participants can avoid the $25 cancellation fee by transferring their registration to a colleague or peer before March 19, 2026. Requests for cancellations and substitutions must be submitted in writing to csiegel@eofnetwork.org. All refunds will be issued after the event.
