There are many different video editing applications these days. All with different strengths and weaknesses. But editing film and video is about moments. Weaving together emotions, sounds, and imagery to tell a story.
In this class we will discuss the theory behind editing. The “why’s” as opposed to the “how’s”. We will also touch on file management, keyboard shortcuts (in general; not program specific), and editing in front of a client. I hope to get you to start thinking about editing in a way that is separate from a computer and screen and becomes a living entity you help create.
All workshops have a suggested registration fee of $100, however we do offer a sliding scale, pay-what-you-can model for those who need that option.
