I/ we hereby acknowledge and accept that sailing and its associated activities are by their nature ‘adventure water sports’ and that they have certain dangers associated with them.
I/ we understand that sailing and its associated activities should not be undertaken without the proper equipment the proper clothing and safety equipment including but not limited to an appropriate life jacket/buoyancy aid.
I/ we further understand and accept that sailing and its associated activities are physical activities that should not be attempted by people who are not of a suitable level of fitness. I/ we are not aware of any physical illness/injury/condition that may impact on my or my child’s ability to safely participate in sailing or any other associated activities. I/ we confirm that s/he is a competent swimmer and are comfortable in the water. I/ we understand that they participate in the course entirely at their own risk.
By this application I/ we hereby indemnify the Royal St George Yacht Club, its officers, trustees, members, servants, agents and sponsors in respect of all claims and demands of whatever nature which may be made upon them in connection with or howsoever arising from participation or intended participation in the above coaching session(s), and I/ we acknowledge that the Royal St. George Yacht Club, its officers, trustees, members, servants, agents and sponsors accept no responsibility in respect of loss of life, personal injury or loss or damage to property which I/ we or any other person may sustain by participation or intended participation the above coaching session(s) or howsoever arising in connection with the above coaching session(s)
I/ we confirm that I/ we hold adequate Third-Party Insurance in place for the duration of the above coaching session(s) for any one accident or series of accidents arising from any one occurrence for the period of coaching.
I/ we acknowledge and agree that my/our boat will be parked/moored/stored absolutely at my/our own risk, and I/We hereby indemnify the Royal St. George Yacht Club, its trustees, officers, staff and members against any loss or damage, accident, claim, injury or mishap arising from the use of Club Moorings, Storage Space, Crane, Pontoons or Members' facilities which shall be at my/our own personal risk.
I/we confirm the boat detailed is my property and accept that while availing of Club facilities I shall be responsible for the management and control of the vessel.
