Leamington WiL Netwalking - 17th January 2025Join WIL UK on a 6.5 mile (10km) walk on 17th January starting at Leamington Spa station at 10:30am. We will be finished by 3.30pm at the latest. Station parking details can be found here - the car park at Station Approach is recommended and is cheaper than the main station car park. There is also free on road parking at the rear of the station but this gets taken early. Walk through the tunnel to reach the front of the station where we will wait to meet everyone. From the station we will walk along the Grand Union Canal to Raford Bottom Lock where we will take the disused railway route, the Offchurch Greenway, to the village of Offchurch. We will have lunch at The Stag at Offchurch before returning over the fields to Newbold Comyn park, with tea and cake at Ruth and Grahame's house to finish. Lifts can then be provided back to the station. PLEASE PAY £6 DEPOSIT for the lunch order when booking. Unfortunately, this is required by the pub and cannot be refunded if you do not attend. Details of the menu will be provided in advance for you to pre-order your meal. This walk is likely to be popular so please book early to avoid disappointment. Boots and waterproofs are likely to be required and walkers join at their own risk.
