We will come together to learn, to vote on constitutional changes, celebrate Havdalah together, and socialize with our WRJ sisters. All WRJ Northeast Board and sisterhood leaders are invited to participate in a two-part workshop led by Rabbi Julie Zupan:

Welcoming the Divine to our Board meetings

Our rabbinic tradition makes an astounding claim: “When two people sit together and there are words of Torah between them, the Shechinah (Divine Presence) dwells among them” (Pirkei Avot 3:2).

In this two-part workshop designed specifically for WRJ leaders, we’ll reflect on why respectful communication sometimes eludes us and learn practical tools for leading and participating in the work of our Board in ways that welcome the Divine presence to have a seat (so to speak) at our tables. Together, we’ll create a set of WRJ Northeast District Board group agreements so that so that every voice at the table is heard, valued, and honored.
