    Please read through all the items listed below carefully. Applicants MUST initial, sign and date at the end and agree to ALL in order to be considered for the Winter Faire & Marketplace.

     

    Location

    The Winter Faire & Marketplace will be held Downtown, Palisade. Please note that the event will not take place at the Old Palisade High School Gym. This is an outdoor market, and temperatures may vary throughout the day. It may be cold, so we encourage attendees and vendors to dress appropriately for the weather.

    Booths
    Booth sizes are listed with fees. Electricity is available for perimeter booths on a first-come, first-served basis. Vendors are responsible for providing all necessary booth items, including tables, chairs, and decorations.
    Food Vendors
    A Colorado Health Department Food Service License/ID is required to serve the public. In order to participate as a food vendor at Palisade's 2025 Winter Faire & Marketplace you must be an Approved Food Vendor through Mesa County and a copy of your 2025 Certificate must be displayed in your booth. Health inspectors will be on-site during the event.
    Proof of Insurance
    All vendors must provide proof of insurance, listing the Palisade Chamber of Commerce as an additional insured.
    Set-Up & Tear-Down
    Set-up is scheduled for Saturday, December 6th, between 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM. Tear-down will occur between 4:00 PM and 5:15 PM. Please do not tear-down early. The marketplace opens promptly at 10:00 AM, and all vendors must be signed in and ready by that time. Late arrivals will not be allowed.
    Release
    By participating, vendors agree to waive any rights to photos or images taken during the 2025 Palisade Winter Faire & Marketplace.
    Sales Tax
    Vendors are responsible for paying applicable sales taxes to the State of Colorado. The Palisade Chamber of Commerce and other entities will not collect sales taxes on behalf of vendors. Vendor information will be reported to the Colorado Department of Revenue. For Profit Businesses must submit a State of Colorado Sales Tax License with their application for consideration of acceptance. Tax Exempt businesses must submit their State of Colorado Tax Exempt Certificate with their application for consideration.

    Business License
    Participants must hold a Town of Palisade Business License to do business within the Town of Palisade. Applicants who do not currently have a license to do business within the Town of Palisade must complete this form and submit to the Town of Palisade to receive their business license. Fee for a one time event is $10. Annual fee is $50.
    Trash
    Vendors are required to keep their booth area free of trash and debris throughout the event.

                  PALISADE EVENT LICENSEVendors are responsible for paying applicable sales taxes to the State of Colorado.                 • Cottage Food Producers:

                  The Colorado Cottage Foods Act requires producers to take some formal food safety training. 

                  Cottage food producers can take an online food handler class, attend a food safety basics class at Mesa County Public Health, or take the specific class only for cottage food producers.
