Join Clay Place instructor Megan Perry, at Umpqua Valley Arts' The Clay Place for a one-day workshop!

Make at face...at The Clay Place! Hand-build your own ceramic mask wall hanging in this fun workshop. Get into the Halloween spirit and make it spooky, make it arty, or give it your own personal style to match your own home aesthetic...Go wild! Students will work with instructor Megan Perry to use basic hand-building techniques to create their mask, add their own designs, and then paint underglaze details or leave the clay fully exposed if desired. Participants will also get to enjoy some complimentary cider and cookies as they create their piece. After the workshop, UVA Staff/instructors will fire the work for students and artwork will be available for pick up approximately 2 weeks after the workshop.

Suggested for students ages 15 and up, no experience is necessary. Cost of class includes all instruction and materials.

Students, visitors and staff are expected to maintain a standard of behavior conductive to the community spirit of learning and working at the Umpqua Valley Arts (UVA). Any individual in violation of these standards will not be allowed to continue classes and any remaining tuition will be forfeited. UVAA reserves the right to refuse enrollment as deemed appropriate by any staff member.

REFUNDS: Please check that you have read the following:*

Payment and Refund Policy: Full payment at time of registration is required. Up until two weeks prior to the start of the event, you will receive a full refund (minus a $10 service charge) should you need to cancel your registration. However, cancellations made after this two-week time frame are nonrefundable. Should UVA cancel the event, all participants will receive a full refund or credit toward future classes.
