Program Overview
The Volunteer Industry Exposure Program is designed to give international students and emerging professionals the chance to connect with industry, build contacts, and experience Australian workplaces in a safe and structured way.

This is not paid employment. It is a learning-focused program that supports your professional awareness, industry networking, and confidence for future career opportunities.

🕒 Duration & Commitment
Length: Up to 3 months
Hours: Approximately 10 hours per week (1–2 days, depending on your schedule and host availability)
Format: Voluntary, observation-based industry exposure

⚙️ How It Works
1. Apply online and pay the $50 enrolment fee — it covers enrolment fee, intial resource allocation and admin costs.
2. SkillReady reviews and veify your details and explore potential opportunities with verified host businesses.
3. If suitable opportunities and acceptance for your portfolio arise, SkillReady assists in facilitating introductions and supporting you through requirements.
4. Before any placement, mandatory requirements (such as insurance and induction) must be completed.
5. Where a placement proceeds, the program fee of $1,500 applies (bringing the total to $1,550 including the enrolment fee).

📑 Program Terms & Conditions
By enrolling, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- The program is voluntary and unpaid.
- You must be enrolled in a CRICOS-registered course and hold valid visa work rights.
- You must complete SkillReady’s Work Health & Safety induction and quiz before starting.
- Insurance coverage is mandatory; SkillReady will assist in facilitating this through a third-party provider, with the cost included in the program fee.
- The $50 enrolment fee is payable at submission and is non-refundable.
- The $1,500 program fee only applies if a placement is confirmed (total $1,550).
- Placement outcomes depend on host availability and suitability; SkillReady does not guarantee a confirmed placement.
