All aspects of CYO sports are volunteer lead. At minimum, we ask all non coaching families to take turns helping with tasks related to hosting home games. This includes managing the scoreboard, snack bar attendee, and clean up. *Instructional teams will have no games, and can disregard this question.

Coaching Requirements

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia requires all coaches to complete a series of background checks and training in order to coach prior to the start of the game season. The list of requirements can be found on our website at https://hfscyo.com
Game Day Help

Once the home game schedule is available duties will be divided as follows:

-A family will be assigned to each slot and shared via SignUp Genius.

-The SignUp Genius will be shared with all season families and with students who request service hours.

-Students who sign up for service hours will assign themselves to the slot/date. The default person assigned should check in with volunteer students and offer support as needed.

-If you are unable to be onsite for your assigned day, it is up to you to trade or find a replacement.

-Families can trade days by signing up for the slot for their new date.

-Each non coaching family should expect to help with at least one home game

-Coaching families can opt in to game day help at any time

-Siblings and students are encouraged to help. An adult 18+ is required to supervise
