Transition and Transformation

September 22 marks Mabon, the autumnal equinox. The Earth is about to make its transition. Day and night coexist equally, but as the year winds down, the nights grow longer and the days shorter. This is a powerful time to reflect and find balance in your life while honoring the changes of the season to come.We will take a hike along Seed Song’s trails and responsibly gather branches, twigs, and other natural elements that the Earth has left for us. Take time to connect not only with the land, but with yourself. When we return from the trail, we will create a mask or simple headpiece to honor the Earth. Participants will then be photographed in their transformation. Photo portraits will be available online two weeks after the event.Children accompanied by adults are welcome. Suggested donation: $15–20 per person.
