SNIFF!

Each run will include one exterior search, one interior search and one container search. Level 1 check-in starts at 9:00 am. Level 2 and Level 3 start times will depend on the number of entries and will be confirmed during the week before the event but may start at 10:30 am and 1:00 pm respectively.

Inside crating space will be available.

All levels will have birch, anise and/or clove.

Level 1 is Beginner, single hide, similar to NW1 or AKC Novice/Advanced.

Level 2 is Advanced, multiple hides, similar to NW2 or AKC Excellent.

Level 3 is Expert, unknown number of hides, similar to NW3 or AKC Master.

 

Pre-entries:

LEVEL 1: $40.00

LEVEL 2: $50.00

LEVEL 3: $50.00

You may run multiple dogs at the same level; however, hides will not be reset. 

Pre-entries must be received by October 26.

 

Day of Show:

LEVEL 1:  $45.00

LEVEL 2:  $55.00

LEVEL 3: $55.00

Day of show entries will be limited and dependent on space.

We will also be collecting food & supplies for a local rescue. Donations are not required to participate but will be greatly appreciated. Here are some suggestions:

 

 

I understand that participating in Sirius Summer Sniffing (the “Event”), whether as a participant, a volunteer or a spectator, holds some risk. These risks include, but are not limited to, that the behavior of dogs and other domestic animals is sometimes unpredictable, cannot be guaranteed, and can result in serious personal injury or death to bystanders, as well as extensive property damage. In addition, I and/or my dog may be exposed to challenging, treacherous or unstable terrain and footing during the Event.

Acknowledging my awareness of the risks associated with participating or observing any type of detection style training or competition, I hereby waive and release any claim or cause of action that I may otherwise have against Circle of Hounds, The Ranch, and their respective employees, officers, directors, agents, or contractors (collectively, the “Released Parties”) for any claim or cause of action for personal injury or property damage (collectively, a “Claim”) arising out of or in connection with events, accidents or other occurrences at the Event, except to the extent that the Claim arises out of the intentional misconduct or gross negligence of the Released Party. I further agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless each Released Party from and against any and all claims, damages, costs and expenses arising out of or in connection with any Claim that is based, in whole or in part, on acts or omissions by me or by any person or animal for whom or for which I have or had responsibility or control.
