You will need Westfield YMCA Basic Chess Program or normal YMCA membership to come to the tournament. The fee for the YMCA basic chess program is $45 for one year ($10 more to include one parent). This is part of YMCA's effort to reduce the lines of players waiting to getting inside the building and make it safer for all players. It is purchased in person on tournament day, and you will receive a YMCA card that you can swipe in when come for the chess tournament. More details here: http://www.westfieldchessclub.org/

Prize: $50 For first in Quad section. Prize paid via Zelle only.

If registered players forfeit, then prize decreases proportionally in affected sections

For expired members, go to the USCF membership signup page, log into your account, and renew your child's membership.

For non-members, go to the USCF membership signup page, create a new account, then pay the annual membership fee ($20 per child), then return to this form and put the eight-digit ID number in the email receipt in the box labeled "USCF ID".

If you're not sure if your child has a membership or what their ID number might be, go to the USCF player lookup page and search for them by name.
Note: Please double check your USCF ID input and make sure it is correct. Wrong USCF ID input may disqualify you from the tournament.

Registration

Early registration closes at 5PM Friday. Late registration closes at 7PM Saturday, late fees apply. No on-site registration. No refund or credit shall be provided unless sickness with doctor's note. Withdrawals need to be made before 8PM the Saturday before the tournament to avoid $20 forfeits/no-shows fee for the next Westfield Chess Club tournament. The higher of published and unpublished ratings is used for pairings.
