IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Submission guidelines:

This exhibition is accepting finished works and works in progress for consideration. Proposed work must be completed by December 6, 2025 to be considered for the exhibition. Newly made works should be inspired by the curated playlist, the exhibition summary, or your general sense of rage and political frustration. The Guest Curator will be checking in with works in progress and conducting studio visits leading up to the deadline

Media: All 2D, 3D media and temporal media will be considered, including video (video set ups must provide their own monitors). Paintings, photography, pop art, street art, installation art, light art, drag performances, video art, DIY and upcycled art, conceptual art, performance art and sculpture.

Size restrictions: Not over 60 inches in any direction; weight cannot exceed 150 lbs, Value should not exceed $10,000; All artwork must be for sale; All artwork must be ready to hang. Do not send files over 4 MB in size.

Accepted work must be ready to be hung at the time of exhibition. The gallery or the curator has the authority to turn away any work that is not ready to be hung, that differs from the original accepted work, or is not suitable for gallery installation.

Entry deadline: 11/15/25 midnight (we highly suggest you do not wait till the last minute!)

Notification of acceptance: 11/16/25 through 11/23/25

Reception for Show Saturday 1/10/26 6-8 pm

Drop off of work (NO shipping of work-accepted works must be dropped off and picked up from the gallery- no exceptions)

Sunday 1/4 6pm-8pm

Monday 1/5 12-6pm

Tuesday 1/6 6-8pm

Pick up of work:

Sunday 2/8 6-8pm

Monday 2/9 3-8pm

BAU Gallery will have the right to dispose of work that is not picked up after 60 days from 2/9/26

Artists can only submit one proposed work per application along with 1, 2 or no finished work in addition.

A Work-in-Progress proposal must include: title/proposed title, sketches, storyboard or mock up, material list, size, examples of similar work or techniques, conceptual summary, estimated price
