VETERANS DAY PACK WALK

Come Walk Your Dog with US! on Veterans Day weekend at Tippecanoe River State Park (Winamac, IN), Saturday, NOV 8, 11am (e.s.t.). EVENT IS FREE, in Honor of our Veterans!

All dog breeds welcome. No Park Admission Fee required for this event. 

This Pack Walk is sponsored by PatriotPups.org, a nonprofit veteran-owned family farm raising pure AKC White German Shepherds for military vets & other great families.

This Pack Walk is a great time for you, family & dog to enjoy a great walk in Nature, in a safe & structured environment. Pack Walks improve health, build community, and promote responsible dog ownership. But you must register either below or in-person at the event. 

RULES:

1) ALL DOG BREEDS welcome

2) Registrant/dog walker must be at least 18yoa (though family members can be of any age)

3) NO COST to register

4) Dog walker may walk more than 1 dog on Pack Walk, though all must be on leash (retractable leash is acceptable)

5) No proof of dog vaccinations is required

6) Female dogs should not be in heat

7) Nose-to-nose / butt sniffing not desired, though all who wish to socialize dogs may do so after Pack Walk is completed

WAIVER of LIABILITY: 

I understand Pack Walk rules, and refusal to comply is grounds for immediate removal from Walk and park, with no legal recourse.

I understand under Indiana law, an agritourism provider, including patriotpups.org, is not liable for an injury to, or the death of, a participant in agritourism activities at this location if the death or injury results from the inherent risks of agritourism activity. Inherent risks of agritourism activities include risks of injury inherent to land, equipment, and animals (such as dog bite) as well as the potential to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to injury or death, or for other participants to act in a manner that may cause injury or death.

I assume all financial, legal and health risks to myself, my family members, and my dog for participating in this agritourism activity, including waiving all financial and legal liability of State of Indiana, Department of Natural Resources, Tippecanoe River State Park, patriotpups.org and its staff, Terry Boesch, or third parties, for injury, damage or death to human or canine resulting from participation in this Pack Walk.

Dog violence / agression is grounds for removal from Walk and park.

I understand Pack Walk will take place rain or shine, no refunds will be made for any reason, and I must pick up T-shirt at event (none will be mailed).
