Sketchbook Gallery is now accepting submissions for an upcoming exhibition, Trash Chic!, a celebration of creativity that transforms the discarded, overlooked, and thrown away into compelling works of art.
We invite artists to submit wall-hanging pieces created using found objects, discarded materials, and trash-inspired themes. While a limited number of floor or pedestal works will be considered, the exhibition will focus primarily on work presented on the walls.
Accepted mediums include:
Wall and free-standing sculpture
Drawing
Painting
Photography
Important Dates:
Applications Open: Jan 31 – Mar 7
Notification By: Sat, Mar 21
Artwork Drop-Off: Sat, Mar 28, 12-4pm
Artwork Pick-up: Sat, May 9, 12-4pm
Exhibition Dates: April 4 – May 8, 2026
We do not accept shipped work for this show.
Artists must submit three (3) pieces, with one work selected per artist.
Fee: $25 Application fee for 3 images. Application fee is nonrefundable.
Sale Price: Note that the gallery/artist split is 50% (gallery)/50% (artists).
Please price your piece accordingly.

TOO OFTEN WE ARE LEFT WITH PEOPLES WORKS WHO NEGLECT TO MAKE THE APPROPRIATE ARRANGEMENTS TO RETRIEVE THEIR PIECES!!!!!!!!!!******
