Dell Rapids Downtown Trick-or-Treat Signups

This year's Downtown Trick-or-Treat event will be Friday, October 31st. It is held on 4th St. between Clark Ave. and State Ave. There are 3 different signups below: 1.)Trunk or Treat/booth, 2.) Scarecrow, and 3.)Event Sponsorship.
1.) Downtown Trick-or-Treat Booth Signup

Please register below for a space. You can use this as a way to promote your business/organization by handing out candy or other family-friendly items. You are able to use tables, chairs, and other decorations as desired. We will place your booth in front of your business if you are located downtown. We will send out a map the week of the event. We will block off 4th Street prior to the event. You can pull up to your booth to unload, but then ask that you park on a side street or City Hall parking lot by 3:15 pm. The event will run from 4:30 - 6:30 pm. We kindly ask that you are ready by 4:00 pm and do not close down early. You can use an estimate of 1,000 children for giveaways. We will be hosting other fun Halloween events. If you have any questions, please email us at office@dellrapidschamber.com. *Please denote below if you would like a booth (on 4th Street) or a Trunk or Treat Spot (In First National Parking Lot), so we can save a spot for you.

Scarecrow Contest
We will be hosting a scarecrow contest for businesses again this year. There will be prizes awarded for the most original and best representation of your business. They will be displayed on the light poles downtown. The community will vote for the winners during the Downtown Trick or Treat event.

Rules:
1. Must be family friendly.
2. Cannot use wire (use twine or zip ties instead).
3. No taller than 8 feet.
4. Business name must be marked using a sign.
5. No generators or tiki torches.
6. No Political, religious or controversial scarecrows.

Chamber/City of Dell Rapids is not responsible for loss or damage. We reserve the right to remove any scarecrows we deem inappropriate. Scarecrows will be assembled on October 30th or October 31st by Noon and removed on November 1st.

Downtown Trick-or-Treat Sponsor

The Chamber will have a punch board for children to win prizes, and we will also be holding a pumpkin decorating contest, costume contest, and house decorating contest with winners receiving local gift card prizes. We are looking for sponsors for the event to assist with the costs of those prizes. Your logo/information will be displayed on the event promotional materials. Thank you for your help in making this a fun event! Deadline of October 10th to allow for printing time.
