About the Instructor:
Jona M Brown is a Fergus Falls-based oil painting artist, known for her chicken, butterfly, and kitchen-inspired art. Inspired by unique items or an interesting character, she creates compositions that tell a story. Jona studied oil painting in high school and college. She received a BS in interior design from NDSU with a minor in bus. admin. Jona spent 30 years in retail, running Biffley’s & Bookmark and JCP Catalog. Currently Jona paints murals for the OTCHS, researches genealogy, teaches art and Sunday School, and maintains and restores her historic home. To expand her artistic skills and story-telling ability, she is exploring oil pastels and cartoon drawing.
Class Date: Saturday, November 8 from 1:30PM - 4:30
Sliding Scale Registration Fee: $45-$65 (supplies included)
Class will take place in the Classroom located in the lower level at Kaddatz Galleries (111 W. Lincoln Ave. Fergus Falls, MN 56537).
