General Information:
Legacy is the proud contract provider of after-school programs for Growing Up Green Charter School II. Our programs are designed to provide continuous after-school child care for scholars who attend GUG I LONG Island in K-5th.
Our programs take place inside the school building. The program runs Monday- Friday from school dismissal until 5:45 pm.
Monday- Friday: Scholars receive a light snack, homework assistance, and then participate in arts & crafts, free play, and organized sports activities.

Legacy begins September 8th, 2025, for ROLL OVER- RENEWAL (ATTENDED 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR MEMBERS)
Legacy begins September 15th, 2025, for NEWLY ENROLLED APPLICANTS
Last day of Programs: June 18th, 2026
Dismisal: 5:15 pm- 5:45 pm
Early Dismissal Slot:
4:30 pm-4:40 pm

- Processing will take two business days
- Read the Welcome email, download the Procare app when prompted, and attend the parent orientation meeting if applicable to begin care.
Membership Plan Options for 2025-2026:
- $235 per month for 5 days per week.
- Sibling Discount is $20 off the monthly invoice
- By registering, you will be charged for the first month of care to get started. After that, you will be billed monthly.
Expedited Processing: Parents can request expedited start by selecting the option below. This means your child can start the following day or the same day if the application is received before 10 am. Note: This is an additional fee for the membership specialist to expedite your application and connect with the school to get your child into the program.
Additional Application Information:
- If registering siblings, you will have to submit each application separately. Sibling discount will be applied to your account as a credit.
- Spots in this program are available until the application is closed (First-come/first-served).
- Your payment is non-refundable according to the Membership Policy. Care can only begin after notification by the Legacy Office of Membership Management & Programs.
- In order to be eligible for GUG Tuition Assistance, the applicant must first enroll the child in Legacy and then apply for tuition assistance when the enrollment period opens. Acceptance of Tuition Assistance is based on income and other factors and is subject to the approval of Growing Up Green Charter Schools.
- Although applicants may be awarded Tuition Assistance by the school, acceptance by Legacy Office of Membership Management & Programs is required and not guaranteed.
